This blog is dedicated to improving the interview process for both the job candidate and the hiring manager. It contains information the candidate can use to “interview their best” and hiring managers can use to make a better more informed “best fit” hiring decision.

An employment interview is a challenging process for both the job candidate and the hiring manager. Typically, neither person has a great deal of experience interviewing and making a hiring decision based on a limited interaction is risky at best. It is no wonder that an interview only has a 50% success rate.

About the Author

A professional having had multiple careers, Eric is a clinical psychologist and has worked in the healthcare, market research, career management, and technology industries. In addition, Eric has extensive experience in the corporate world both as an employee in large and small organizations and as an owner of his own technology company specializing in developing web based programs.

Within the Career Management field, Eric worked as a Senior Consultant and Career Center Manager with one of the world’s largest outplacement firms. As a Senior Consultant, Eric worked with hundreds of job searchers individually and in groups teaching them job search skills and coaching them through their interviews. Based on this experience, Eric has developed a new approach to job interviews, the interview presentation www.interviewbest.com. InterviewBest helps job candidates win interviews and land jobs.

Eric, a licensed psychologist, holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from American University and is the author of two books “What to Think What to Do-100+ Strategies for Successful Interviewing” and “What to Think What to Do-100+ Strategies for Successful Networking”.
